CHARLES
GANTT left Cable & Wireless,
where he worked as a network voice engineer, in 2001, to join
ATS-I as a field
supervisor,
leading a team of communication and Nortel Networks
MSL-100 technicians.
At Cable & Wireless, Mr. Gantt
provided remote and on-site support for 3rd level DMS problems,
enhanced network for DS1 (T1) capacity and upgrading components
to the latest release, and verified CSS7 protocols and testing
call-processing suites to certify that new platforms were consistent
with present domestic and international legacy feature group
database. He was responsible for verifying switch configurations/identifying
and implementing switch infrastructure changes.
During
his 16-year tenure at Northern Telecom, he served as one of
the company’s technical support engineers,
installed 10,000 line systems with enhanced voice message component
and trained staff on DMS 100 Telephone switch. As
a result of his efforts, trouble reports were less than 1%, and
system performance remained at a high percentage.
Mr. Gantt and
his family reside in Reston, Virginia. |
